True Story - As I was driving home tonight, upon fairly slick roads, I was talking to my mother on the phone. (Dumb in and of itself but I wanted to ask her a question about a pellet stove.) A deer comes into view on the roadside, as I'm rounding a corner, no less... I try to stop and naturally skid.Luckily the deer turns and steps the other way, not in front of my car. (Whew.) I tell my mom I have to go as A) I'm driving on slippery roads, B) it's difficult to see now and C) I almost hit a deer. She says OK (rather nonchalantly) and then asks me about the Jason Mraz CD she just bought... Apparently she can't seem to get it to play in her car but it will play on her PC. Asks why it might not be playing... which turns into a discussion on how to burn a copy of the CD o
n her computer.FML.
Oh sheesh!! Thank goodness you're alright!! I knew it was snowing and the roads were crap because I was talking to Vicky on the phone as she was driving in it too!!
