Day 8 - Mail Fail - 11.30.2009

OK... that's a rather substantial stack of mail. I wonder if there is anything important in there? Psh.

Day 7 - Just in Case - 11.29.2009

Still hanging out with Nate's family at his parents'house. Not sure all of what today will entail... but since I don't want to have another FAIL... I'm going to post my photo now!


Today is Jane & John Schraufnagel's 40th wedding anniversary. Awww. How adorable!


My only question: why didn't any of that "commitment" rub off on their 3 boys? None of them are married.... grown men, ages ranging from nearly 30 to nearly 40. Sheesh!

Day 3 thru 6 - FAIL - 11.28.2009

It didn't take me long to FAIL miserably at posting a photo a day... in a sad attempt to make up for it I will post 4 pictures today!



Picture 1: At the corner of Stoughton Road and the Beltline Highway in Madison someone decorated a huge weed in the median. I nearly peed myself at the stoplight!



Picture 2: Um... Vampiro? We went strolling around an antique mall this afternoon and I saw this... which made me instantaneously think of my TCO friends!



Picture 3: Poor Barley... hanging out in his little puppy-hut. Little man gets locked up so often when we're on the road... :(



Picture 4: Spent part of the afternoon at a local Mazda dealership. Nate's brother's girlfriend is thinking of getting an CX-7... and Nate thinks he needs a Mazda 3 Speed. (No.)

Day 2 - Our Song - 11.24.2009

Sometimes, even guys get it right... unsolicited and out of the blue.

(It's blurry, I know ~ story of my life. But the text says, "Listening to our song". And it's from Nate. Made my day. I'll try to post a replacement pic later... I can't find the cord to download pics from my camera so I had to dig out and use the camera on my old phone to take a pic of the actual text on my new phone. Phew... Is it bad when the explanation is far more long-winded than the caption?)

Day 1 - Unfinished Business - 11.23.2009

Every morning I wake, rub my eyes and look up to see a wide ring, white and devoid of paint, around the base of my ceiling fan.

I should really just paint around it one of these days...
